Each week 170 local seniors are transported to The Summit’s Adult Day Program for care and therapy support by way of a bus – a vehicle that is also used to provide outings to seniors living in long-term care.

Unfortunately, the bus these seniors depend on has become unreliable and, with the recent heavy rains, several leaks and extensive black mold have been discovered.

Eldercare is hoping to purchase a new bus as soon as possible to avoid any service interruptions. An anonymous donor has also come forward with an offer to match all donations made before December 31, 2021 up to a maximum of $30,000.
